A comprehensive fine and performing arts program in the visual arts, music, drama, and dance is integral to the St. Johns experience. We consider involvement with the arts as an essential component of a complete education. Members of the arts faculty are practicing artists who provide excellent models and superior leaderships in the arts to students at all levels.
Fine and performing arts are taught via intensive and varied coursework in history and theory with abundant opportunities for performance and exhibition.
Among our graduates are graphic artists, actors, musicians, singers, print makers, animators, film makers, music and art teachers. But many more students simply will develop an appreciation for the various art forms and enjoy participating in the arts. The arts program at St. Johns offers coursework for every skill level and interest.
