Senior Madison Dill signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at University of Miami on November 18. Joining her on this momentous occasion were Richard Dill (Dad), Kim Dill (Mom), Luke (brother and St. Johns ’14 grad), and Annie (sister). The girls team of Junior Chloe Garcia, Junior Kendall McGeorge, Sophia Pecoraro (Grade 7), and Senior Emily Patterson finished 2nd as a team at the Class 1A, District 4 championship and advanced to Region 2 play, where both Garcia and Sophomore Alisa Detlefsen earned medals. Chloe’s single-round score of 82 was fourth overall and second among players not on qualifying teams. At the start of the swim competition season, Senior Ally Campbell started with a 1:12 in the butterfly and as the season progressed so did her skills - she kept swimming faster and faster. The culmination of her hard work was demonstrated at the Regional swim meet, as Ally made St. Johns history by breaking the butterfly record set in 2003 with a time of 1:03.01. Great job Ally!

At the Region I District 4 Class 1A Cross Country race held at Alligator Park in Lake City on October 31, three runners earned well-deserved All-Region honors.
