The St. Johns Middle School is pleased to welcome Nichole (Nikki) Simpson to the Middle School family. Ms. Simpson holds a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education from Kent State University and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction in STEM from Concordia University. She relocated from Cleveland, Ohio to Jacksonville in the fall of 2016.
"Ms. Simpson has been teaching at St. Johns since January 2017 as a substitute and Summer Academics instructor," said Middle School Head Bill Rothe, "and we are thrilled to welcome her full time."
Ms. Simpson has 7 years of Middle School teaching experience and will be teaching Grade 7 Earth Science and AP Environmental Science.
"I feel so incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to teach here at St. Johns," says Simpson. "I knew I wanted to be a part of the St. Johns family from the first day I stepped foot on campus. It is truly a dream come true to begin the next chapter of my life as a St. Johns Spartan!"
When she's not shaping Middle School minds, Ms. Simpson rides horses and enjoys running and bicycling. She brought both her horses with her to Jacksonville and competes with them locally.
Ms. Nikki Simpson will be teaching Middle and Upper School Science.
