Campus Update for December 19, 2017

Good afternoon! We hope you are having a fabulous winter break. Here are this week's news and announcements from St. Johns Country Day School:

Teacher of the Weeki
St. Johns is honored to announce that our own Mr. Patrick Rodifer was selected as this week's First Coast News Teacher of the Week. Those with students who have had Coach Rodifer as a teacher or a coach know precisely why this is so well deserved. Congratulations, Coach Rodifer!

Lily Peterson Selected for HOBY

Each year, St. Johns sends a rising junior to the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Conference for three days of fun, interactive leadership training, meeting other young leaders from around the state, and making new friends. This year's selectee is Lily Peterson, and Claire Trammell is the alternate. The conference will be held next summer at Florida State University and is also a great way for a rising junior to get a taste of life on a university campus. Congratulations to both Lily and Claire!

Alumni Panel

In case you missed it, last week St. Johns published an article about the Alumni Panel, which took place on Monday, December 11, and featured three recent alumni who discussed college with St. Johns juniors and seniors, answered their questions, and gave them a few tips and suggestions. You can read that story In the News.

Student Led Conference Signups

Last week Middle and Upper School parents should have received an email with a registration link to sign up for Student Led Conferences on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Lower School, please reach out to Denise Evans to schedule your conferences. The Upper School registration can be found here, and Middle School is here. We're looking forward to seeing you on the 10th!

We hope you have a great week!
