St. Johns Country Day School is a private, independent, coeducational, non-denominational school that delivers a superior college preparatory education to students in Jacksonville and its surrounding communities.

Sprawled beneath a lush canopy of live oak trees, our 26-acre gated campus provides a secure learning environment to a student population of more than 760. All our students, from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, attend classes under one roof; this exceptional environment encourages a student body of individual citizens who share a remarkably strong sense of community.

At St. Johns, we see to it that students receive an outstanding academic foundation, while simultaneously developing their artistic awareness, their physical development, and the confidence and personal skills essential for a successful life. Each year since its inception, 100% of St. Johns graduates have been admitted to college,  matriculating at the nation's leading colleges and universities.

Since first opening its doors in 1953, St. Johns Country Day School has continued a tradition of excellence set forth by our founder, Dr. Edwin P. Heinrich, and a small group of parents who recognized the need for a different type of school in the greater Jacksonville area.
