A unique family atmosphere prevails at St. Johns Country Day School.
At flagraising each morning, all students and faculty, and often parents, gather for the Pledge of Allegiance and morning announcements. The sense of belonging to the St. Johns family is reinforced as young students cheer the successes in Middle and Upper School athletic competitions or a senior’s acceptance to college. In the next moment, Upper and Middle School students applaud the successes of a Lower School student or the announcement of a birthday. This constant interaction and support of the younger and older students is a very special quality of St. Johns.
