Fellowships

St. Johns Fellowships are exciting programs designed to help students explore opportunities in their chosen area of interest. A St. Johns Fellowship provides practical experience, learning, and networking. St. Johns Fellows work with a qualified Fellowship Advisor who will provide guidance, connections, and leadership.

Qualifications
Any Upper School student is invited to apply for a St. Johns Fellowship. Students must submit the Fellowship Application, Supplemental Subject Application, and receive a recommendation from the Fellowship Advisor. 

Expectations
Expectations of these Fellowships include:

  • fulfillment of the St. Johns Graduation Requirements
  • successful completion of one or more courses in the subject area specified by the Fellowship Advisor
  • Fellowship Advisor approved practical experience
  • successful completion of at least one Fellowship Advisor approved outside elective course, online or in-person, pertinent to the field of interest
  • Fellowship Advisor approved service learning and shadow experience/career internship. Minimum of 50 hours. Both service learning and internships or shadow experiences must each be represented in the 50 hours. 
  • presentation of a research-based Senior Symposium project focused on the chosen field of interest
