Health and Wellness Initiative

St. Johns is committed to the holistic well-being of our students. Recognizing the importance of fostering physical and social-emotional education, we have a new strategic initiative around wellness space across campus.

First, we are establishing a new Wellness Center designed to meet students' physical and mental well-being needs in an environment distinct from the traditional classroom setting. The new center will feature free weight equipment, cardiovascular machines, and dedicated space for group training. The Wellness Center will represent our commitment to team development and student physical and emotional growth.

Students currently use the area outside the Alumni Gym for outdoor activities. They are eager for their own dedicated outdoor space!

Second, as St. Johns recognizes the unique requirements of our Middle School students, we are introducing the Green Space—a dedicated outdoor space designed to promote Middle School health and wellness. This outdoor, park-like area will provide ample space for recreational activities, facilitate opportunities for free play, and provide areas where faculty and students can expand outdoor educational opportunities. Students currently don't have a space like that.

Contribute to Spartan Wellness

By investing in these new wellness spaces, St. Johns is actively shaping an environment encompassing a curriculum of academic excellence, prioritizing our students' physical and mental health. Our commitment to fostering a culture of well-being underscores our dedication to nurturing the whole student, ensuring they thrive in all aspects of life.
