Coach: Juliam "JJ" Albino
St. Johns is one of a few schools in the Jacksonville area to have the privilege of having a heated competition pool on campus. Our team consists of swimmers of varying ability levels from novice swimmer to swimmers competing at the state level. We emphasize and stress a culture of excellence and commitment.
It is the goal of the coaching staff to have every swimmer enjoy swimming, improve their skills in the pool, and compete as part of a team. Practices are directly after school from August through October.
St. Johns has a history of success at the district and state level. St. Johns swimmers have gone on to continue their careers collegiately, including the Division I level, such as ACC swimmer of the week Kaitlin Dressel currently competing for Florida State University.
Requirements for swim team: swimmers must be in 6th grade or higher with the ability to swim freestyle and backstroke for at least 50 yards (2 laps).
