Setting Up AppleID & Email
APPLE ID INFORMATION
- Students in grades 1 - 5 will be given an Apple ID tied to their school email.
- Students in grades 6 - 12 should have their own Apple ID. Parents, please go to https://appleid.apple.com/account
- NEVER change an Apple ID on an iPad from one account to another. This will cause the student to lose access to their school textbooks. If a child changes their Apple ID, the family will be responsible for purchasing the books again.
- If your child would like to use apps from another account, please use Family Share to gain access.
School Email Account
Each student in grades 1 - 12 will have an email account. Students in grades 1 - 4 will be limited to receiving and sending email within the St. Johns community once the Apple ID has been set up. They will not be able to email parents using this email. The email will be activated in class with the teacher and added to the iPad for the students to utilize.
Students in grades 5 - 12 will be walked through setup during the orientation.
