State Championship Rings for Varsity Girls Soccer

Last month the St. Johns Country Day School varsity girls soccer team was recognized one more time for the year as they accepted their state championship rings. Headmaster Todd Zehner and Coach Mike Pickett announced the girls names at the morning flag raising ceremony on Thursday, May 11, 2017, and called up each player to receive her ring.

"The team had the program's first perfect season," said Pickett," going 25-0 and outscoring their opponents 132-7." The team also claimed the school's first Naitonal Championship and own a school record 57-game unbeaten streak that they will carry into next season.

The senior class went 141-5-6 in their careers, and we wish them the best of luck as they move on to college. Members of the 2016-2017 varsity girls soccer team included:
