World Languages Department Welcomes Ms. Ashley Sanders

St. Johns welcomes new Middle and Upper School French teacher Ms. Ashley Sanders. Ms. Sanders holds a bachelor's degree in international studies and French from Spring Hill College, in Mobile, Alabama and taught French for three years in Mobile.

"I love teaching because I get to share the French language and culture, which I'm so passionate about, with my students," says Ms. Sanders. "And I love having the opportunity to see students' confidence build as they learn and grow."

Ms. Sanders spent a semester studying in Cuba as an undergraduate, and spent a semester at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.

"I'm so excited to welcome Ms. Sanders to St. Johns," said Mrs. Kim Hanson, World Languages Department Chair, "I know that her background in international studies and personal experiences abroad will enrich the lives of our language students."

Ms. Sanders also looks very much forward to coaching Middle School Cheer this season. She lives in Jacksonville and in her spare time she enjoys paddle boarding, playing tennis, and going to country music concerts.
