It's never too early to get started on your summer reading. Book Bingo (for Lower School) and summer reading lists for Middle and Upper School are now available at sjcdslibrary.net. You can also download the "Destiny" app to check out e-books from the school library all summer long. Happy reading!
Youth Water Polo Classes Available
This summer St. Johns' Director of Aquatics Dr. Adam Gaffey will be offering a free Youth Water Polo course to boys and girls who will be entering Grades 4-8 in August. Classes will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:
June 8, 13, 22, and 27
July 11, 13, 25, and 27
While the course is free, for insurance reasons, participants must register for the summer swim league at a cost of $60. If interested, please reach out to Dr. Gaffey with your chld's name and age. Get more information and register for the summer swim league here.
Project Based Learning: Art, Kids, and Conservation
All Grade 6 students are contributing to an exhibition featuring student art, writing, and research from their projects this year about White Oak. The show, called "Project Based Learning: Art, Kids, and Conservation," opens tomorrow-- Wednesday, May 31, 2017 and will be open through the end of August. Mark your calendars and do plan to stop by this summer to see these amazing creative works.

St. Johns Summer Academics are a great way to get a jump on the 2017-2018 school year, or as a refresher of everything your student learned this year. Most courses begin on Monday, June 12, but schedules do vary. Visit sjcds.net/summer for course descriptions and registration.
Summer Day and Adventure Camps
A variety of day and "adventure" camps are also available to keep your child busy all summer long. From soccer to sewing, cheerleading to chess, and drones to dancing-- we have something to interest your child! Visit sjcds.net/summer for schedules and registration.
Lower School Supply Packs
Lower School supply packs for the 2017-2018 school year are available now through Monday, June 19. Visit the vendor website and enter the St. Johns code-- SAI017. Then just select the pack for your student's grade, checkout, and you're all set! Supply packs will be delivered to the St. Johns Spirit Store and available for pickup on Orientation Day, Friday, August 11.
