Track Parent Meeting Tonight

There will be a meeting for all parents of Track & Field athletes tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the Pace Lecture Hall. See you there!


Mr. St. Johns

Mark your calendars and save the date for Mr. St. Johns, on Saturday, February 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Admission is $5 and proceeds go to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. You won't want to miss this spirited St. Johns tradition! 

And, Upper School boys, it's not too late to compete in Mr. St. Johns! Please see Mrs. Velasco for a contestant packet. Contracts are due Thursday, January 31.


February PTL Meeting

Don't miss the February meeting of the Parent Teacher League, on Wednesday, February 5, 2019, immediately following flag raising in the Lower School Library. We look forward to seeing you there!


Spartan Boosters Meeting February 6

The Spartan Boosters will meet on Wednesday, February 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the library. Come join our dedicated team of volunteers devoted to supporting our Spartan athletes. 


Candy Grams Now on Sale

Don't forget to order candy grams for your favorite Spartan or Spartans! Download an order form here, fill it in, and return it to your student's homeroom teacher or Mrs. Velasco by Monday, February 11, 2019. Proceeds support Interact Club's service projects, including American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and K-9s for Warriors.

Save the Date: Prep School College Fair

Mark your calendars and save the date for the 2019 Jacksonville Preparatory Schools College Fair, coming Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the University of North Florida University Center. Representatives will be on hand from more than 60 of the nation's top colleges and universities to answer your questions and talk with your student. This event is free for all St. Johns students and families. St. Johns' College Counselors will also be available to provide assistance and answer any questions you might have. Questions? Reach out to Mrs. Burson in the College Counseling Office. 


Outward Bound Scholarship Opportunity

Do you have a student in Grade 10 or 11 who would love to spend some time adventuring in Maine this summer? Maine's Hurricane Island Outward Bound School(HIOBS) is offering a scholarship to a St. Johns student for a Hurricane Island Outward Bound experience this summer. You can learn more about HIOBS in this short video. Interested students may pick up an application form from Mrs. Korahais and all applications are due back to her no later than Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

A Starry Night: St. Johns Sapphire Jubilee will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Sullivan Hall, Fleming Island. All proceeds from the Gala will benefit the arts at St. Johns, funding needed programs, resources, materials and improvements in St. Johns' robust visual and performing arts. St. Johns Spartans Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Eagle Harbor Golf Club. All proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the St. Johns athletic department and our student-athletes.

Prom Date Change

Due to potential conflict with several schedule athletics events, the 2019 Junior-Senior Prom has been moved to Saturday, March 30, 2019. Prom will still take place at River City Brewing Company, so-- same place, new date! Mark your calendars and students should stay tuned for ticket and other information.
