Day of Giving Thursday

We are so excited about our second annual Day of Giving, coming this Thursday, April 4, 2019. Day of Giving is a one-day call to action to pledge your financial support to the students, the faculty, and the experience of St. Johns Country Day School, and our 2019 Day of Giving is a tribute to Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, who together have devoted 90 years of service (and counting!) to our school. Please make a gift to St. Johns on Thursday in celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Fisher. Click here to learn more about Day of Giving and the founding of St. Johns Country Day School.

Open House Friday, April 5

Do you know any families who might like to learn more about how St. Johns can be the difference in their child's education? Invite them to join us for our next open house, on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Learn more at sjcds.net/open. If you'd like St. Johns to send a personal invitation to someone you know, please let us know.

Spring Musical: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

You won't want to miss "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," coming to the Performing Arts Center April 12 and 13 at 7:00 p.m.

The show centers on a fictional spelling bee and the six quirky adolescents who compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups. Come and see our talented technical and performance students bring this show to life. All ages will enjoy this thought provoking and hilarious comedy!
Tickets are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults and will be available at the ticket booth starting Monday, April 8 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and at the door.

Blood Drive April 15

Don't miss the blood drive on campus coming Monday, April 15, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. All donors will receive a free OneBlood baseball cap and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse, and cholesterol screening! Feel free to drop in, or you can click here to schedule an appointment.

Schedule for Final Exams

There was an error in the "At-a-Glance" calendar around the dates for final exams. Please note that the correct dates for final exams are Tuesday, May 21, 2019 through Thursday, May 23. The fridge-friendly at-a-glance calendar has been updated and is available at sjcds.net/calendar

Commemorative Books

Your donation will purchase a book of your selection, and a bookplate will be placed inside the book commemorating the occasion. We look forward to your participation! Visit the Heinrich Learning Resource Center on the Topics page of your division's My School App page for more information and the order form.
