Did you know that St. Johns hosts trips beyond the grade level trips you've probably heard about? (Grade 8 Mountain Trip, anyone?) Over the summer, or during Spring Break, St. Johns hosts a variety of adventures for our Spartans. For example, last month 28 students and 5 teachers spent their Spring Break exploring Spain and Italy.
This picture taken in front of the cathedral in Toledo, Spain is just one example of the great history and diverse art students experienced while on this trip.
"The purpose of this trip, and I think all of our adventures in the World Languages department, is to expose our Spartans to new people and cultures and give them the opportunity to interact and practice the language(s) they've been learning," said Spain/Italy trip sponsor Ms. Kim Hanson.
What a fabulous way for students to learn, grow, and explore firsthand!
