Campus Update for Tuesday, November 26, 2019

Good afternoon! We hope you are having some good family time this week. Here are this week's news and announcements from St. Johns Country Day School:

Presenting the Class of 2020

Senior Presentation Brunch

In case you missed it, on Friday St. Johns presented the Class of 2020 to the School community in a ceremony known simply as Senior Presentation. The day marks our seniors' coming of age and presents them to the community as adults in their own right. The seniors got together earlier in the day for brunch at the Inn at Winterbourne, a beautiful time together that they'll always remember. You can read more about it at sjcds.net/news and download photos from both the brunch and Senior Presentation here

Head of School Update

Baker Head

Last week the Board of Trustees was pleased to announce the appointment of St. Johns' next Head of School, Mrs. Valorie Baker of Knoxville's Webb School, effective next July. Welcome, Mrs. Baker! You can read more about it at sjcds.net/news

Looking for Ways to Get Involved?

Are you looking for ways to get involved with the School and your child(ren) at school? Volunteering your time in classrooms and around campus enriches your School experience while giving back to St. Johns. We deeply appreciate every volunteer and every minute of service given to our School and its students. Two great opportunities for involvement are the PTL and Spartan Boosters.

The PTL works to support the School community through a variety of activities and events including family socials, faculty appreciation lunches, Grandparents Day, and more.

The Spartan Boosters celebrate and support our student-athletes and coaches by volunteering at concession stands, organizing end of season banquets, and more.

Neither of these sound like the right fit for you? Contact Jordan Rechcigl for more info and opportunities!
