Varsity Girls Soccer Headed to State

Varsity Girls Soccer stormed into the program's 13th state championship by rolling International Community School 4-0 Friday night. The Spartans came out attacking with Lauryn Mateo '23 scoring 2 goals and Kamy Towers '22 and Julia Boaventura '22 adding one each.

Spartan defense, led by keeper Alexis Agramonte '21, along with Lexi Drumm '21, Maddie Moody '21, Ellie Rosenau '21, and Lauren Weiss locked down the ICS attack and held them to just two shots in the entire game.

The Spartans head to the state championship game on Wednesday at Spec Martin Stadium, on the Stetson University campus in DeLand. Upper School students may sign up to ride the pep bus to the game by picking up a permission slip from the Upper School office. All slips must be signed by a parent or guardian and turned in prior to boarding the bus. Don't forget-- the FHSAA-mandated admission fee is $12 for the game, and students may also wish to bring money for food at the stadium.
