Campus Update for Tuesday, January 7, 2020

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a fabulous break. Buckle those seatbelts, because second semester starts now! Meanwhile, here are this week's news and announcements from St. Johns Country Day School:

PTL Meeting Tomorrow

Resolve to join us for the first PTL meeting of the new year tomorrow morning immediately following flag raising (or at about 8:15 a.m.) in the library conference room. We look forward to seeing you there!

Report Cards Coming Monday

Report cards will be available in My School App for all students on Monday, January 13, 2020. To access your student's grades, log in to My School App and then, from your Parent Resource Board, in the upper left click on your student's name. Report cards are available at the top under Performance. Questions or problems accessing your student's report card? Please contact your division assistant.

Grade 8 Soon to Receive Campus Update

As another step in their progress to Upper School and increased responsibility for themselves and their work, Grade 8 will begin receiving Campus Update next week Tuesday, January 14, 2020. This will help keep them in the loop on School news and activities, and Grade 8 teachers will be working with them on what's important for them to know and do. If you have any questions, please simply reply to this message, or reach out to Head of Middle School Mrs. Lentini

Student-Led Conference Day January 15

Parent conferences will be led by the students again in January, helping your Spartans learn to look ahead, plan, and take an active role in their success as students. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, January 15, 2020 and plan to join your student's homeroom teacher/advisor for a status update and discussion led by your student. Lower School parents, as always, please reach out to Ms. Evans to schedule your conferences. Middle and Upper School parents, online scheduling is now available. Those links follow:

Lost & Found Claim-Back

While you're on campus for Conference Day on January 15, plan to stop by the Pace Lecture Hall to review and reclaim any lost & found items from first semester. If your student has lost a hoody, PE gear, a lunchbox, or just about anything else this semester, chances are it'll be there waiting for you. We'll have everything washed and displayed for easy ID-- all you have to do is stop by. Book your conference time today using the links above, and plan to stop by the PLH on your way out! Claim-Back will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!
