Academic Delivery Plan
As mentioned in Head of School Valorie Baker's email yesterday afternoon, St. Johns has published its Academic Delivery Plan, outlining the different learning modalities we may need to implement in the event of orders from the Governor, or state or local health department. Policies that will guide our operations after we reopen, including distancing policies, sanitization procedures, bell schedules, and much more, are being finalized now and will be shared later this week.
Athletics Start Dates
Athletics practice start dates for the fall 2020 season, including volleyball, football, swimming, cross country, golf, and cheer, are now available at sjcds.net. All dates are subject to change. Please reach out to the listed coach, or to Director of Athletics Traci Livingston, with any questions. The latest team schedules are also available online at sjcds.net/athletics.
Summer Camp
St. Johns is accepting registrations for our exciting instructor-led specialty camps this summer for campers who will be entering Grades 1 through 9 in the fall, depending on individual Camp age requirements. Camps will take place through July 24, 2020. Parents who have already registered for regular day camp have the option to switch into a specialty camp or to receive a full refund. Parent Back to School Nights
Mark your calendar now and save the date(s) for Parent Back-to-School Nights. Lower School Back-to-School Night will take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., and Middle and Upper School will follow on Wednesday, August 26, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there!
