Good afternoon, here are this week's news and announcements from St. Johns Country Day School:
Magnus App Update Tomorrow
We are told that there will be an update to the Magnus Health app within the next day. The update is meant to bring some great new features to the app, including biometric login capability (Face ID, Touch ID) and optional push reminders, among other things. We are told that the app will remain functional whether you choose to update it or not, though you may want to plan to update it soon just to get that login capability (no more fat-fingering those login IDs and passwords!). Regardless of whether you choose to update or not, if you have any trouble with the app, please call Receptionist Mrs. Sherry Burnside at (904) 264-9572.
Virtual Coffee Talk Tomorrow
Join the St. Johns Parent Association and School administration for a virtual Coffee Talk-- time to chat with, get to know, and ask any questions you may have of School leadership. Don't miss this week's Coffee Talk with Head of Upper School Mrs. Mary Virginia Fisher and Upper School Dean Mr. Mike Hilliard, tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. You can access the meeting by typing sjcds.net/coffee into your web browser or go to meet.google.com and enter the code "vkn-iwwm-tbt." We look forward to seeing you!
Carpool Reminder
Just a reminder to parents who drop their students off in the Administration car loop in the morning—As you approach the Administration Building, please pull all the way forward before stopping. You'll see Mr. Wirth standing by the Lower School entrance-- please pull forward all the way to him before stopping your car. Thank you for helping us keep things moving during morning drop-off!
St. Johns Joins 8-Man Football League
St. Johns is pleased to announce that it has joined the Sunshine State Athletic Conference for the remainder of the 8-man varsity football season. Rocky Bantag will continue to coach the Spartans for what is sure to be a fun and fantastic season. Stay tuned to sjcds.net/athletics for the schedule.
