St. Johns' Fall Virtual Conference Days are coming up next week Monday and Tuesday, October 19 and 20. Lower School Virtual Conference Day will take place on Monday, October 19, and there will be no school for Lower School students that day. Lower School teachers have reached out to parents about scheduling virtual conferences. Please reach out directly to your student's teacher if you did not receive this information or if you have any questions or need to change your appointment time.
Middle and Upper School parents, appointment scheduling is available here for Middle & Upper School Conference Day. Please note that there will be no classes for Middle or Upper School students on Tuesday, October 20.
Mark your calendar and save the date for this fall's final virtual Coffee Talk, with St. Johns' Office of Student Services. Led by dedicated and experienced learning specialists and counselors, Student Services recognizes the needs of the whole child by offering social-emotional support as well as academic enrichment and remediation. The Coffee Talk will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Access the virtual Coffee Talk by typing sjcds.net/coffee into your web browser or go to meet.google.com and enter the code "vkn-iwwm-tbt." We look forward to seeing you!
Just a reminder to parents who drop their students off in the Administration car loop in the morning—As you approach the Administration Building, please pull all the way forward before stopping. You'll see Mr. Wirth standing by the Lower School entrance-- please pull forward all the way to him before stopping your car. Thank you for helping us keep things moving during morning drop-off!
Character Foundations in October
This month in Character Foundations, St. Johns' innovative character education program, students in all grades are learning about integrity, which is defined as choosing to be truthful in whatever you say and do. Visit sjcds.net/news to learn more about integrity, find out some of the things our Spartans will be learning about and doing this month, and get resources you can use to reinforce the lessons at home.
Some things never change— no matter the circumstances, St. Johns' administration stand ready to assist with anything you might need. Please feel free to reach out at any time to:
