Cold & Flu Season is Here!
Just a reminder that, beyond COVID-19, cold and flu season is upon us and some of our Spartans are, unfortunately, falling victim. Parents, please be reminded that students must be fever-free without fever-reducing medicines such as Tylenol for at least 24 hours before they return to school. Please do not send students to school with a temperature over 100.4, or while on temperature-lowering medicines. If your child develops a fever or sore throat while at school, you will be called to come pick them up and will be kept isolated until that time. Please reach out to School Nurse Michele Adams-Lentz with any questions. Thank you for your help keeping our Spartans safe and healthy this flu season!
Support the St. Johns Fund Today!
The St. Johns Fund supports our mission to develop students who can seek solutions, accept responsibility, and lead collaboration. Every gift, no matter the size, benefits our students, faculty, and the St. Johns Experience through curriculum and technology enhancements, faculty professional development, PPE and sanitization supplies, and much more that would not be possible without the support of the entire St. Johns community.
Please consider making a gift to the St. Johns Fund this year. Make your gift by cash, check, or online at sjcds.net/give. If you have already made a gift to the St. Johns Fund, thank you for the difference you have made. If you haven’t made a gift, we hope we can count on you to commit to the St. Johns Fund this year.
Spread the Word: Personal Tours Saturday!
It's that time again-- admissions season! Do you have friends who might be interested in a St. Johns education for their child? Spread the word that we are hosting our next admissions event this Saturday, November 14, from 10am to noon. Prospective families are welcome to join us for personal guided tours of the campus, and we'll be glad to answer all their questions about what St. Johns can do for their family. This will be our last open house event of the calendar year, so please encourage interested families to email email@example.com to RSVP.
November Character Foundations: Gratitude
This month in Character Foundations, St. Johns' innovative character education program, students in all grades are learning about gratitude, which is defined as letting others know you see how they've helped you. Visit sjcds.net/news to learn more about gratitude, find out some of the things our Spartans will be learning about and doing this month, and get resources you can use to reinforce the lessons at home.
Some things never change— no matter the circumstances, St. Johns staff stand ready to assist with anything you might need. Please feel free to reach out at any time to:
