This weekend, St. Johns' Latin teacher Ms. Rachel Robison '09 and several Latin teachers from across the state hosted a virtual Latin Forum for over 150 students. The competition included academic testing, creative projects, original speeches, and more. Of the 13 Spartans who attended, every single one brought home an award.
"I am so pleased that our students were able to attend competition this year," said Ms. R. "They have been studying and working on their projects for months, and it is incredible to see them succeed!"
In addition to their academic and creative pursuits, students also took part in a service project - writing letters to children at St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. With the help of our Spartans, the group was able to send more than 60 letters to brighten children's days.
Next up, St. Johns Latin Club will be attending the State Forum on April 10. Way to keep #SpartanClassics alive!
