Good afternoon! Here are this week's news and announcements from St. Johns Country Day School.
In the News
On Friday, St. Johns was thrilled to announce four seniors who were named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists, the most of any high school in the Jacksonville area. Hearty congratulations to (above, L-R) Sean Gregson, Robert Morris, Ariel Sauer, and Mia Morin! Read more about this and other St. Johns news stories at sjcds.net/news.

Yellowstone Information Meeting
For any Upper School student (and their parent/guardian) interested in the June 2022 Yellowstone Wildlife Ecology trip, there will be a parent/student information meeting this Thursday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m. in Upper School room 7 (Dr. Román's room). If you have any questions, or, if you prefer to attend the meeting virtually, please reach out to Dr. Román.
Upcoming College Rep Visits
Each year, St. Johns' College Counseling Office works to bring a variety of college admissions representatives to campus to talk with our students, tell us about their college or university, and answer student questions. Visits are underway for the 2021-2022 school year and are posted on the School's calendar (scroll down for how to subscribe). All Upper School students are welcome to attend and need only register for each visit in their SCOIR account. See the College Counseling Office with any questions. Upcoming visits include:
|September 22||Wake Forest University|
|September 24||Hampton-Sydney College|
|September 27||Elon University|
|October 1||Jacksonville University|
Schedule is subject to change. Upper School students should check their SCOIR accounts for the most up-to-date listing.
