Athletics Team Photos Tomorrow

Fall athletic team photos will be taken tomorrow afternoon—Wednesday, October 6. All players need to bring their uniforms into school tomorrow in order to be featured in the photo. 


Coffee Talk Tomorrow

Please join us tomorrow morning in the Pace Lecture Hall for the Parent Association's Coffee Talk—a time to chat with and ask any questions you may have of School leadership. This week we're chatting with Director of College Counseling Caroline Morris, Director of Student Life Ian Gibson, and Director of Winterim Libby Levin. Sparty Speedsters

Does your Kindergarten-Grade 8 student love to run, seek to improve their running technique, or just want to burn off some extra energy after school? Sign up today for Sparty Speedsters, one of our Sparty Sports after school programs. Run by Spartan track coach Christopher Chandler, sessions will focus on speed and technique to take runners to the next level. Perfect for beginners or aspiring athletes. College admissions representatives who will be visiting with St. Johns Upper School students in the upcoming weeks include:

Grab dinner out while supporting a good cause—St. Johns' Interact Club! Explore Yellowstone Summer 2022!

Spend a week exploring Yellowstone National Park! Want to get hands-on conducting bison and amphibian research, give back by doing service work, camp under the stars, and raft the Yellowstone River? Then this course is for you! Interact Variety Show—Sign Up Now!

Upper School students, do you love to sing, act, play an instrument, or do magic tricks? Have a hidden talent you're ready to share with the School? Sign up today and be a part of the Interact Club Variety Show to benefit Rise Against Hunger. See Mrs. Velasco or show co-chairs Kennedy Brown or Emma Schultz to sign up. Don't have an act to share, but want to come out, support a good cause, and have a great time? Mark your calendar for the show, coming Saturday, October 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. It's family friendly and all are welcome. The theme is Halloween, so pull out your costumes and we'll see you there! 


All-School Conference Day October 19

All-School Conference Day is coming up on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Parents are invited to choose whether they prefer to attend virtually or in person. Lower School parents, be on the lookout for an email from your child's teacher later this week. Middle and Upper School parents, please click here to schedule yours today, and just make a note on the form if you prefer to attend virtually. Teachers will then send you a meeting link for the conference time. We look forward to seeing you then!


New Date for Spartan Fest: Friday, October 22

The all-school Spartan Fest is coming up Friday, October 22, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on the softball field. We hope you can join us for carnival games, inflatables, face painting, treats, and more for the entire family! Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks, so be sure to bring cash or card and come hungry! Afterwards, plan to come cheer on our Spartans at the Homecoming Football Game at 7:00 p.m.! We're looking forward to good times, laughter, community, and school spirit and we can't wait to see you there!


Fall Portrait Retake Day

Mark your calendars and save the date-- Fall portrait retake day for students from Pre-K3 through Grade 11 will be on Wednesday, October 27. Anyone can get a retake. If you bought a package, just have your student give it to the photographer on retake day. If you just want a retake, your student can just show up. Please direct any questions to Mrs. Jackson at kjackson@sjcds.net.
