Carson Pickett '12 Named to USWNT

Spartan alumna Carson Pickett '12 was this week named as an alternate to the U.S. Women's National Team Roster. Though Pickett has played for the US17 and US23 teams, this is her first time on the main team roster.

Carson, a St. Johns Lifer, began playing for the Spartan varsity team in Grade 7 under her father, Head Coach Mike Pickett '83. She was named Miss Soccer in 2012 and went on to play for Florida State University. She was the No. 4 pick in the 2016 NWSL College Draft by the Seattle Reign. She subsequently moved to the Orlando Pride and currently plays for the North Carolina Courage.

Congratulations, Carson!
