Congratulations, Cum Laude Inductees!
Yesterday, nine Upper School students were inducted into St. Johns' chapter of the Cum Laude Society for their outstanding academic achievements. You can read more about it right here.

Congratulations to the cast, crew, volunteers, and Director Mr. Cody Riker on an amazing production of The Addams Family last weekend! And, hearty thanks to everyone who came to see it. We hope you had a great time! Click here to view some scenes from the show.

Thank you to all the alumni, parents, and School community members who joined us for the 17th Annual St. Johns Spartans Golf Tournament last Friday. Athletes Named All First Coast
Several Spartan athletes were named All First Coast Basketball honorees. Congratulations to Taliah Scott '23, Mary Kate Kent '24, and Cam Cooper '28. Taliah was also named All First Coast Girls Basketball Player of the Year. From basketball to wrestling and many more, the All First Coast honors acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of our hard-working student-athletes. Congratulations, Spartans!
Screening This Week
Clay County Department of Health will be on campus this Friday, April 21 for vision, hearing, and scoliosis screening for select grades. Students in Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 3 will have hearing and vision screenings, and Grade 6 will participate in scoliosis screenings. Please reach out to School Nurse Michele Adams-Lentz, RN, MSN, ARNP, with any questions.
The clinic is in need of a few volunteers to help with these screenings. If you are willing and available to donate some of your time, please click here to sign up.
Celebrate Our Teachers
At St. Johns, we celebrate our teachers every day, but next week is National Teacher Appreciation Week and we really want to show them how much we care about and appreciate them. Throughout next week, we encourage parents, students, and others to share their thanks with our Spartan faculty. Give them a big high five, make them a special card, or just tell them "thanks" for all they do! If you're interested in helping with Teacher Appreciation Week, please reach out to sjpa@sjcds.net.
SJPA Nominations
The St. Johns Parent Association (SJPA) invites all parents to apply for the 2023-2024 Executive Board. Serving in a leadership role with the SJPA is a great way to become more connected to the School community, meet other parents, and have some fun along the way. If you're interested, please fill out this SJPA nomination form. Elections will take place Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 8:15 a.m. in the Lower School Library following the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. All are invited, so please join us!

Have you volunteered in your child's classroom or at a school event this year? Chaperoned a field trip, decorated a classroom door or provided snacks? Have you worked in the library or sold concessions at a game? If so, then, thank you! You, and others who do so much for St. Johns, are the volunteers who truly make a difference for the students, faculty, and staff of St. Johns Country Day School. Please allow us to thank you by joining us at the St. Johns Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 8:15 a.m., in the Lower School Library. Join us for good food and great friends as we tip our hats to you for all the hard work this year! The SJPA Annual Meeting will follow the breakfast, at which time the 2023-2024 leadership slate will be presented for approval. Please join us!
