New Traffic Pattern for 2025

Parents are reminded of the new traffic patterns and parking designations for 2025. Effective with our return to school yesterday, during AM and PM carpool hours, after the three-way stop at Heinrich Way and Spartan Drive, Spartan Drive becomes a one-way road all the way to the back gate. Lower School pickup and drop off will remain unchanged, but if you continue onto campus beyond the three-way stop at Heinrich Loop, you will need to proceed down Spartan Drive and out the back gate to Moody Avenue. New crosswalks have been installed to facilitate Middle and Upper School departure, and parking areas have been designated to allow better access for student pickup. This new traffic pattern will be in effect during morning drop off (7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.) and afternoon pickup (3:05 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.). Thank you for helping us keep our Spartans safe and ease congestion throughout campus!

Spirit Dress Friday

We missed the First Friday of January, so we'll have a Spirit Dress Day this coming Friday, January 10, instead. Dress warmly, Spartans, and be sure to stop by the Spirit Store to stock up on cold weather spirit gear as needed!

Report Cards Available Friday

Student Quarter 2 report cards will be available this coming Friday afternoon, January 10. Parents will be able to download download those in the Veracross Parent Portal.

Lower School Student-Led Conferences

On Friday, January 17, Lower School will host Student-Led Conferences. You will not want to miss this check-in with your student as they assess give you their assessment of their year to date. Lower School classes will not be in session on this date, but Middle and Upper School will have classes as usual. Parents, you can sign up for your conference time in your Veracross Parent Portal at sjcds.net/veracross.

Safety First!

We take our students' safety seriously, both during the School day and after. Please note that students cannot be on campus grounds after school without supervision. If you are on campus for a game or other School event, please do not send your child unsupervised to the playground or other locations. If you require after school supervision, drop-in care is available for St. Johns' after school program. You can get more information and sign up for that right here.
