Grayson Moody '25 Named Commended Scholar

St. Johns Country Day School's Director of College Counseling Caroline Morris announced this morning that Senior Grayson Moody has been named a Commended Scholar in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the School and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, was presented this morning to this academically talented senior.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2025 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT / National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

"We are proud to congratulate Grayson on being named a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship competition," said Director of College Counseling Caroline Morris. "This recognition highlights his hard work and commitment to academic excellence. Grayson is an outstanding representative of St. Johns Country Day School and we look forward to his future achievements."
