Good afternoon! Here are this week's news and announcements from St. Johns Country Day School:

What a Great Spartan Fest!

We had such a great time on Friday at Spartan Fest and we hope you did, too! From the bounce houses to the food trucks, Giant Jenga to face painting, and not to mention the faculty-student basketball game, it was a blast! And, hearty congratulations to the Ortiz family on winning the 50/50 raffle!


Moody Named Commended Scholar

Congratulations to Senior Grayson Moody who was named a Commended Scholar in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship ProgramClick here to read more about it


Middle School Students of the Month

This morning, Middle School recognized students in each grade who have gone above and beyond to include others in the School’s mission and who have stood out as valuable members of the Middle School community. This morning at flag raising, St. Johns was proud to congratulate three students nominated by the Middle School faculty. The Middle School Students of the Month are:

Grade 6- Lowell Albro-Heffernan
Grade 7- Charlie Van Horn
Grade 8- Adisenne Taylor


Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to last week's Nichols & Pina Law Firm St. Johns Athlete of the Week Addy Vogt '25! Addy shot a four under par 67 at the Jax Beach invitational last weekend and finished tied for first place! Congratulations, Addy! 


After School Wrestling Club

Register today for Future Champs Wrestling Club! This 6-week after school beginner program is designed for girls and boys in Grades K-5 and will take place every Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., October 23 - November 20. The program will cover basic skills, drills, and maneuvers of wrestling. Cost for participation is $100 per student ($75 for each sibling), with a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 20. Florida Tax Credit Scholarships Deadline Next Week!

Many St. Johns families are saving money on tuition by putting their tax dollars at work. As of 2023, the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTCS) program is available to all resident students who are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten through Grade 12 in a Florida public school. The next enrollment deadline has not yet been determined, however, awarded students are still eligible to receive 100% of their scholarship award for the 2024-25 school year as long as the student is "enrolled" by next week Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Cut your tuition bill and click here to get started today
