Bantag Appointed Spartan Football Coach

St. Johns Country Day School, founded in 1953, a founding member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools, and one of the top independent schools in Northeast Florida, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rocky Bantag of Middleburg, to the position of Head Varsity Football Coach. Coach Bantag has been an assistant coach with the Spartans since 2012 and has been coaching youth football for nearly 30 years.

"I'm truly honored to be named to this position and look forward to building on the good things that are already in place in Spartan football,” said Bantag. “I look forward to working with and continuing to develop athletes who are strong in body and mind."

“St. Johns is thrilled to appoint Coach Rocky Bantag as Varsity Head Football Coach,” said Director of Athletics Traci Livingston. “We know he brings passion and commitment to everything he does, and we anticipate many great seasons under his leadership."

St. Johns is also pleased to announce the appointment of Vince Williams, of Orange Park, as Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator.
