An Involved Community Supports St. Johns' Mission
St. Johns has historically enjoyed and relied upon robust volunteer participation from members of our community, and we encourage you to get involved in supporting St. Johns in meaningful ways.
Being engaged in the small and large events in your child’s school life helps your child and our school succeed. We encourage you to talk with your children about homework and friends, ask about their school day, participate in your child’s course selection, communicate with your child’s teachers, coaches, and advisors, attend Back to School night, parent conferences, and college counseling sessions, and visit My School App on a regular basis, to name a few avenues for involvement. There are many ways to stay connected and enhance the St. Johns experience for you and your child.
Active participation in your child’s education takes on many different forms at St. Johns: volunteering in the classroom or library, helping with cookouts or special events sponsored by the Parent Teacher League (PTL), serving as a parent ambassador for new families, getting involved with St. Johns Athletic Club (SJAC), teams and clubs, attending athletic and arts events, and so much more!
Like other independent schools, St. Johns does not receive financial support from the local tax base, state or national governments, or corporations. Everything we do depends on income from tuition and the generous contributions of people like you. We hope you will support the mission and work of our school. In addition to being fully engaged in school activities, we hope you will contribute to the St. Johns Annual Fund.
Every gift is an investment in the students, the teachers, and the St. Johns experience.
