Spartan student art is on display at The Galleries at Main Library in 2024 Northeast Florida Scholastic Art Awards (NEFSAA) Gold Key Exhibition now through March 10th.

The 2024 NEFSAA season collected and adjudicated 3,476 student submissions from 1,663 students in eight counties including Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, Union and Volusia counties.

The visual arts are integrated into the St. Johns curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Students are taught painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and ceramics and student work is on display across campus as well as in many galleries, including the v Gallery, the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., Jacksonville International Airport, and Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts.

Lauren Hodges '17 earned her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design with a minor in Studio Art from Liberty University in 2020.  Lauren currently works as a graphic designer for a marketing firm in Jacksonville.
