Tuition & Financial Aid
A Valuable Investment in Your Child
At St. Johns, we provide students with educational and transformative experiences that shape their futures and resonate long after graduation.
The cost for enrolling a student at St. Johns Country Day School involves both tuition and fees. Investing in an independent school education requires careful financial consideration. To make the investment in a private education manageable, St. Johns offers merit-based scholarships, need-based financial aid, and flexible payment plans.
2025-26 Tuition and Fees
Financial Aid
Tuition Assistance
There are many factors to consider when applying to St. Johns, and affordability is one of the most important. Financial aid may be available for students based on a family’s demonstrated need. It is important to note that an application for financial aid in no way affects admission decisions.
In order to apply for financial aid, parents must submit a financial aid application online with School and Student Services (SSS). SSS provides a need analysis for financial aid based on the Parent's Financial Statement. St. Johns' Financial Aid Committee uses this information as the basis for financial aid awards. Begin the application by clicking the box below:
- Applicants will be prompted for a school code in order to submit their Parent's Financial Statement. St. Johns' school code is 6544.
- Parents will be required to upload a copy of their most recent Federal Income Tax statement, including all schedules as filed with the IRS, plus copies of all applicable Wage and Tax Statements (W-2 forms), to SSS by May 31.
- In cases of separate households, both parents are required to complete a financial aid application with SSS. Additionally, the non-custodial parent is required to submit IRS Form 1040 and W-2 for self (and spouse, if married) as indicated above.
- All financial aid awards are granted for one year and are renewable by application annually.
Financial Aid awards announcement dates to be published soon.
Aid is awarded annually on a first come first serve basis for eligible families. Financial aid applications for the following school year will not be accepted after May 31.

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options
These programs:
- Expand eligibility to all K-12 students, regardless of household income.
- Convert the scholarships into education savings accounts, or “ESAs” allowing families more flexibility in how they invest in their children’s education.
- For families who will use the scholarship for full-time private school tuition and fees, parents/guardians must agree to have their Scholarship Funding Organization, or “SFO,” commit scholarship funds on behalf of their students’ tuition before using education savings account (ESA) funds for other approved, authorized uses of program funds. Some other approved uses include uniforms, laptops, books, software and tutoring.

Alumni Benefits
The Alumni Remission is St. Johns' thank you for being a Spartan *alumni, for sending your legacy child(ren) to St. Johns, and for the community, loyalty, and support that all of our alumni families provide to the School.
Continuing through the 2024-2025 School year, St. Johns will be offering our alumni a 40% remission on all legacy—children of alumni—enrollees. In our world today there have been many stresses, unknowns, and uncertainties, and we want to make sure that choosing a quality education for your child is not one of those burdens.
After the 2024-2025 school year, Alumni Remission will be reduced to 20%. However, with Spartan Prepay, you can now lock in that 40% remission rate for a future Spartan. Your one-time deposit of $25,000 secures the full 40% rate for the duration of your future child or grandchild's St. Johns schooling.
Alumni Remission applies to your family whether your child is new to St. Johns or has been here since Pre-K3. We are proud of you and grateful for you, and Alumni Remission is just one way we can show it. To learn more about our Alumni Tuition Remission Programs, reach out to Director of Enrollment Management Kelly Risdon at krisdon@sjcds.net or (904) 264-9572 x1118.
