Our 2026–2027 tuition initiatives reflect that promise — offering greater predictability, a variety of scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and lasting value for families who choose to invest in a St. Johns education.

Every family’s journey looks a little different. Through a combination of scholarships and need-based financial aid, many families may pay less than the listed tuition. Our Admissions Team will work with you to explore all available options and create a personalized tuition plan, including payment plan options, that makes an exceptional St. Johns education within reach.

* Sibling Discount of 5% applies for additional children from the same household. Families are eligible for only one: Alumni, Faculty, or Sibling Discount.
Tuition refund insurance (1% of tuition) is required for those who select the monthly payment plan. The premium is due with first payment. Refer to the Tuition Refund Plan brochure and enrollment contract for details.

Spartan Commitment

The Spartan Commitment - Upper School, Rising Grades 9-11

The Spartan Commitment is St. Johns’ way of rewarding families who choose to finish Spartan Strong. Upper School students who commit to graduating from St. Johns will receive a tuition guarantee through graduation at the $25,200 tuition rate, offering lasting value and financial peace of mind throughout the entire Upper School experience.

This initiative allows families to plan confidently from now through graduation, providing both stability and the assurance that their student will grow, lead, and graduate Spartan Strong.

Key Dates

Current Families: Commit and re-enroll by January 30, 2026, by completing the following:
- Sign the re-enrollment contract.
- Pay the $500 non-refundable reservation deposit.
- Pay the $1,000 Spartan Commitment fee.
New Students: New Student Deposit (10% of tuition) and your $1,000 Spartan Commitment fee must be received by February 27, 2026, to secure your tuition guarantee through your child’s graduation

Financial Aid

Tuition Assistance

There are many factors to consider when applying to St. Johns, and affordability is one of the most important. Financial aid may be available for students based on a family’s demonstrated need. It is important to note that an application for financial aid in no way affects admission decisions.

In order to apply for financial aid, parents must submit a financial aid application online through Clarity. We encourage families to use the Quick Reference Guide as you complete the application. If you have further questions, please contact Clarity at support@clarityapp.com.

Tuition Assistance applications will be accepted continually. However, the first priority deadline for applications is January 9, 2026.

January 16, 2026: Financial Aid Award Notification for Current Families
February 12, 2026: Financial Aid Award Notification for New Families

Aid is awarded annually on a first come first serve basis for eligible families.

Scholarships

St. Johns Country Day School offers several scholarship opportunities to support students and families.

Merit Scholarship- Rising Grade 7 or 9

The St. Johns Country Day School Merit Scholarship is a selective, merit-based opportunity designed for students who demonstrate both outstanding academic promise and a desire to make a significant contribution to the life of St. Johns Country Day School.

Eligibility:

To earn a merit scholarship, a student must:

Be entering Grade 7 or Grade 9.
complete the St. Johns admissions process, or be a current St. Johns student re-enrolled no later than February 27.
complete and submit the St. Johns Merit Scholarship application, including a hand-written essay, no later than February 27.
take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) and earn a combined stanine score of 28 or higher. All ISEE testing must be completed and test scores received prior to the application deadline. Visit iseetest.org to learn more about the ISEE.
maintain a weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher for Grade 7 or Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.6 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher for Grade 9.

Financial Benefits:

The Merit Scholarship will cover 50% of tuition as long as the recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements for the scholarship. This scholarship does not cover any additional required fees or expenses including, but not limited to: application fee, building fees, Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), digital textbook fees, and school uniforms costs.

St. Johns admits qualified applicants without regard to gender, race, color, national or ethnic origin and grants to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school.

Florida School Choice Scholarships

School choice options recently expanded for Florida students with the signing of House Bill 1. Please read on for more information about the relevant programs.

St. Johns only accepts the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options

These programs:

Expand eligibility to all K-12 students, regardless of household income.
Convert the scholarships into education savings accounts, or “ESAs” allowing families more flexibility in how they invest in their children’s education.
For families who will use the scholarship for full-time private school tuition and fees, parents/guardians must agree to have their Scholarship Funding Organization, or “SFO,” commit scholarship funds on behalf of their students’ tuition before using education savings account (ESA) funds for other approved, authorized uses of program funds. Some other approved uses include uniforms, laptops, books, software and tutoring.
